t's tiny.
The humble snowdrop pops up through
frigid temperatures to herald spring.
Can it be true? Has it been more than a month since I posted on this site? "Ain't it funny, how time slips away?" Since I last wrote, I've had a birthday, which included two birthday dinners, each with one of  my boys and his family; and an eye exam. I've had the grandkids overnight a couple of times went to see "How to Train Your Dragon III" with the grandsons, and done a little yard work in five-minute stretches. Today is a beautiful day for anything outdoors and I finished raking the sidewalk border and got a good start on revitalizing the strawberries. I'm hoping for a much better garden year than last season.

If you are mobile on Tuesday night from 7 to 8 p.m., stop in at the Georgetown Township Library and visit me and my friend Peri Stitzel, who will be signing her book, "From Broken to Beautiful," her memoir about triumph over child abuse.

I'd like to report a great victory on the technology front. It took a total of over three hours on the phone (four separate calls), but I finally got an account glitch fixed on Kindle Direct Publishing. If you are suffering something like that with your cable company, doctor's office or utility provider, hang in there. You will persevere if you don't give up. My last call lasted 45 minutes and I recounted my situation three times (again), but I did get a solution to the problem. Come to the phone and/or computer armed with the beverage of your choice and a snack.

This time of year I am mindful of the upcoming Easter season. Palm Sunday is April 14, and Easter is April 21. I just finished telling the Passover story from Exodus to my kindergarten Sunday school class, reviewing the symbolism of Christ's sacrifice and the gift of salvation in words of one syllable. Once again we reiterated the great message: God always keeps His promises. We may have to wait, but be patient and obey. God will be true.

It's such an amazing thing and a good thing to be reminded of - that God ALWAYS keeps his promises!
I saw the first crocus in our yard today!

Cathy Runyon - I am trying to find a past article of yours from the Advance Newspaper and am unable to do a search for it anywhere. The article was titled "Just when all the pieces are finally fitting, you have to start over." and ran on Dec 14, 2010. It ended up on 2 different pages and I have only the first half of the article. Any help?? Thanks! I loved your articles and wish I could read them ALL again!
Joanie
